Having a cell phone has become one of the big necessities of our modern lives. It helps us stay connected to the world and more importantly our loved ones, making our life and work function seamlessly. There are times that a mobile phone can help us out a lot in an emergency when we need to reach out for help. Yet, a cell phone has only limited functions of it, is not backed up by a fully functional mobile network. Our telecom provider plays a big role in this since it helps us get connectivity enabled on the mobile. At times as we move from one part of the country to another we may get less connectivity from our telecom operator. We may also get some better offers from a different operator within the same city. In these cases, Mobile Number Portability (MNP) or Porting comes in handy. The best part about going for porting is that you will be able to retain our number while changing our mobile operator. Here are some questions that are frequently asked about the porting process that will help you make the best decision for your mobile connection.
