Hublot is a watchmaker who has perfected the technique of fusion. It includes material fusion, combining traditional and modern design, and collaborating with sports icons as well as institutions. Above all, Hublot is the realization of two men with immaculate watchmaking creds: Carlo Crocco and Jean-Claude Biver. In 1980, Crocco introduced the Hublot brand at Baselworld. Crocco worked for the Binda Group, a prominent Italian watch company at the time, before launching his brand. In 1976, he left his position to start developing Hublot, which means porthole in French. His first design was inspired by this name and image. The result was a porthole-shaped case that has become synonymous with the brand.
Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Chelsea Watch
One of the best Hublot Classic Fusion watches for men is the Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Chelsea Watch. Hublot has introduced this piece from the Classic Fusion series in honor of the Chelsea soccer club, which it sponsors. This watch has an in-house chronograph movement housed in a titanium case. Generally, the dial color is just like the London club’s jerseys, and the Chelsea crest motif is reiterated on both the front and back of the timekeeper.
This watch is housed in a titanium round housing 45 mm in diameter. For added visual appeal, the housing has alternating polished and satin finishes. Both of the two finishes can be seen on the fixed bezel that surrounds a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Its transparent case-back section is made of the same material. The caliber HUB1143 is the watch’s core strength. This is a self-winding chronograph movement with 59 rubies and a total of 280 components. Its supported power reserve is not excessively large, lasting 42 hours.
Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph VanDutch Watch
Hublot has designed a limited edition wristwatch for VanDutch, a luxury yacht manufacturing company. Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph VanDutch is the name of the piece. It is a black piece that resembles the style of the famous Dutch boats. The Classic Fusion round housing is crafted with polished black ceramic in the traditional style. The same material has been used to make the crown and pushers, and the skeletonized case-back. There is also a bezel made of gray composite resin.
Its black ceramic housing measures 45 mm in diameter and 13.4 mm in thickness, with a supported water resistance of 50 meters. A sapphire crystal glass with glare-proofing treatment protects the face of the Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph VanDutch timepiece. On the back of the housing, anti-reflective sapphire is also used, this time with the VanDutch logo. Caliber Hublot HUB1155 is the piece’s source of power. It is a self-winding chronograph with 207 parts and as many as 60 jewels in its development. Its skeletonized movement measures 30 mm in width and 7.1 mm in thickness. Subdials for 30 minutes, 12 hours, and small seconds are included.
Hublot Classic Fusion 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Watch
This stunning Classic Fusion model comes in an opulent pink gold package with an appliqué that resembles the tournament’s trophy. Despite the presence of many gold components used in its development, the Hublot Classic Fusion 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is, as the title implies, classical in design and relatively understated. Pink gold was used for its sleek design and 45mm diameter housing. The case, which is waterproof to 50 meters, has a satin and highly polished finish that is visible throughout. The fixed bezel, which is attached to the rest of the construction of six H-shaped titanium screws and also is paired with a composite resin bezel lug, also displays the finish mixture.
This timepiece is operated by a HUB1301.4 mechanical caliber with manual winding. Its movement, which is made up of 123 components and 21 jewels, is exceptionally thin. Its thickness is only 2.9 mm. It is also worth noting that it operates at a frequency of 3 Hz and has a power reserve of 90 hours.
Hublot Classic Fusion Tour Auto Chrono Watch
Hublot released a limited edition Classic Fusion Tour Auto Chrono watch in 100 pieces to commemorate the first year of its collaboration with Europe’s most renowned historical car rally. The design was chosen by the renowned Swiss watchmaker to nicely reinterpret the authentic vintage style that instantly recalls collectors’ cars that can be seen each spring at the Tour Auto Optic 2000. The case of the Classic Fusion is made of nicely polished titanium with satin-finished edges. It has a 45 mm diameter. An opaline dial and a retro-style strap complement each other perfectly. Both are adorned with navy blue and red vertical stripes that are reminiscent of classic racing cars. The dial also has two black sun-burst Chrono counters.
Hublot has created a number of other memorable models since the emergence of the Big Bang. Hublot persists to epitomize Crocco’s distinct vision for the brand with each new creation. They debuted two new collections that expanded on the Hublot Big Bang legacy. One of them is the Classic Fusion, which combines the brand’s unconventional style with classic design features.
